Sorry if this has been discussed before!
My only stipulation is that the player you mention had to have been playing in one of the organized leagues at or around the time of the original release of the set. My vote is for Babe Adams of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Who you got? Brad

Besides those already mentioned, I would like to have seen these:
Cy Morgan (won 18 in 1909 and 1910 with 1.81 and 1.55 eras) Jake Daubert (hit .264 in 1910, .307 in 1911) Earl Moore (won 18 in 1910 and 22 in 1911) Grover Alexander (won 28 in 1911) King Cole (was 20-4 with 1.80 era in 1910 and won 18 in 1911) Jack Combs, Connie Mack, and Babe Adams (which have been mentioned) are the most surprising omissions to me because they were famous in 1910. Alexander, Carey, McInnis and Jackson were new and didn't become well known until 1911. |

Adams was the first that came to mind for me. I second the "more Wagner" poses and would add Plank in there as well.

Good recommendations guys! I, of course, would love to see a Carey.

It would've been cool if Joe Jackson had a T-206 portrait.

I made this up years ago, so it's a little bit crude, but here's a "what if?" card

I am with David McD.-there are plenty players from the south that were more than worthy but very few made it.
I think they actually stopped the 206 Old Mill run to make way for t210.
