Update on 1953 Cardinals photo book
A couple of months ago I had a post about a 1953 St. Louis Cardinals photo book about which a reader had inquired.
I just exchanged some e-mails with Sport Machine's George Michael, who remembers the book well, as he acquired one while working as a program butcher at Sportsman's Park that year. He had some great comments about how Eddie Stankly refused to sign the book for him. It's all posted on my blog, linked below.

Very interesting read. I remember the photo book. I didn't know Eddie Stanky was such a jerk.
