Update on 1953 Cardinals photo book
 

A couple of months ago I had a post about a 1953 St. Louis Cardinals photo book about which a reader had inquired.

I just exchanged some e-mails with Sport Machine's George Michael, who remembers the book well, as he acquired one while working as a program butcher at Sportsman's Park that year.

He had some great comments about how Eddie Stankly refused to sign the book for him.

Very interesting read. I remember the photo book. I didn't know Eddie Stanky was such a jerk.
