Sequential numbers would suggest the cards were submitted together. And that suggests that they were part of someone's collection. If the cards were from what's considered a defined set, and the numbers went straight through from the beginning of the set to the end, then it seems that would have a bit of cool factor associated with it.
To get that done, a submitter would want to be sure that each of the cards would grade, and that the idiot graders would grade and generate the certificate numbers in order... let them know what you're trying to accomplish.
1948 Bowman would be a small enough 'set' to do get them graded sequentially, ditto for W511... T206 would be a Monster... 1911 ZeeNuts a Bear to get done.
