I'm not saying that it isn't Grimes (3rd from left, back row), but I'm having a hard time seeing how his face changed so much from 1912, when he was with the Austin Bills, to 1913 with Chattanooga. Also, Grimes was
only 5'10" tall, and with some guys on the roster standing at 6'2"-6'5" (per statscrew), I would argue that it's one of those guys and not Grimes. Perhaps one of the other fellows is Grimes? Or perhaps he missed the day of the photo shoot? See below for an early image of Grimes with the 1912 Austin Bills:
