To my way of thinking, that's as much of a "heads up" as a seller needs to give. It obviously was enough to stop you from buying the bottle, and myself also (after a bit more research), although even after said research I was still tempted due to the "conversation piece" aspect.
If this bottle can be had for $27.50 somewhere else, the buyer had plenty of warning to have attempted to find it. That's what google is for.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. I feel that it's misleading to even suggest that there is a debate whether or not it is Ruth's father when it unequivocally is not.
