Larry, I agree in general, but...
There are many that still attack the Monster even though they know they will never own the Wagner. That being said, Larry's comment is the reason I will never attempt the '52 Topps set because I know I will never be able to purchase the Mantle.
Growing up maybe 12.50 miles from the Astrodome, The 1963 Pepsi set has been the *dream* set for me since I first heard about it in the mid '70's. My desire to purchase the card is strong. Unfortunately, my quest to even see the card in person has been as successful as Ponce de Leon's quest for the fountain of youth. When it is all said and done, hopefully my quest will be more successful than his.
