If I had 5k to spend on a card I would buy back my Trout BC Auto 1st card that I let go for a third the price. Or a Shoeless Joe card.

I think it will retain value but it is very plentiful. Personally I'm partial to the 2010 Pro Debut of Trout which has a much lower pop and is a great looking card.

Personally I see this card as having a strong demand as people are slowly switching from modern to vintage (even though I wouldn't classify this as vintage). I would recommend holding onto the card...

This...the only way to get a fair assessment is to crack it out. Is there a risk to it, yes. But I have cracked out SGC and BVG then sent them to PSA with decent results.

It will be interesting to see what this card does over the next five years. I just sold a BGS 8 with 9.5 centering for more than double what I paid for it so right now the market is a little too hot...
