Are these T206 cards Trimmed???

Posted By: <b>Paul S</b><p>Not so sure about trimmed, but they do seem a little artifically too bright to me.<br /><br />edited to say: What IS that background. Looks like a wrought(sp?) iron frame against a carpet pattern. I can't even tell how the card is suspended on it.

Posted By: <b>Dave S</b><p>Tough to say without holding them/checking with a loupe.<br />From the naked eye, for what it's worth...I'd guess Abbaticchio and Milan look OK, Bescher and Bransfield suspicious..

Posted By: <b>Anthony S.</b><p>Here's a good article from the "Detecting Card Alterations" section (the icon is on the top right of the front page).<br /><br /><a href="http://www.network54.com/Index/86209" target="_new" rel="nofollow">http://www.network54.com/Index/86209</a><br /><br />Also, if you're collecting T206 commons in fair to good condition, getting one that is slight trimmed (like the Bescher may or may not be) really isn't the end of the world, imo. Hall of Famers, rarities, or SL'ers are a different story.
