Posted By: <b>Julie</b><p>I''ve been babbling all evening about how "Nine Innings From Ground Zero" was about how the Yankees WON the 2001 World Series after 9/11. Of course, they LOST the Series, in Arizona (I even e-mailed Lew Lipset, at the time, "I bet you watched every pitch!" and he e-mailed back, "Yep. First time." Go, Snakes...<br /><br />Anyway, I don't know if that's long-term memory, or short-term memory, but it's a pretty good movie. HBO...they win all the Emmys and Golden Globes, and this year, they'll win an Oscar for Best Foreign Film, "Maria Full of Grace."<br /><img src="http://www.network54.com/Realm/tmp/1095751724.JPG"> <br /><br /><br /><img src="http://www.network54.com/Realm/tmp/1095751762.JPG"><br /><br /><br />[edited to change title]

Posted By: <b>barrysloate</b><p>Hi Julie,<br /> Judy and I were watching it too, but we only caught the second half. It was very compelling, and an interesting way to connect a tragedy with something as escapist as baseball. I have no idea who made it.
