Who were the Morris Reds
 

Posted By: <b>JC&nbsp; </b><p>A freind of mine came up with a Cabinet size card made by "Baker" printed on the front. He feels it's around the 1890's or so. It shows full body shots of the whole team (players/managers). Any information would be great on who the Morris Reds were and if any Major leaguers played for them?

Posted By: <b>Hankron</b><p>Never heard of the team. My guess is that it is some local amatuer team with no one famous in it. Old cabinet photos of minor/unknown teams can still have value, depending on a variety of factors-- including age, uniforms, equipment, the overall visual appeal of the image and the photo as a whole.<BR><BR>I have heard of the Morris Dancers though.
