Looking for any info on this figurine. Google shows one sold at an action for $220 in 2014 and says it's from the 1950's. This is the only photo I was given. Any idea of the value if sold today ?

Thanks in advance.

$220 was a good deal back then. $350 - $400 was a more typical price. These "mystery maker" pieces don't surface often, and are rarer than the Stanford Pottery, Gibbs Conner and Bobblehead counterparts.

Not as many people know about these, so it's difficult to state the "going price". It's one of those pieces that could go as low as $200 or as high as $750, depending on the auction venue, who sees it and who is bidding.

If I were selling it outright, I would set the price at $499 and be open to best offers.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks very much for the info! My sister-in-law paid a whole $3 for it at a church garage sale.

What a score. I won't tell that to my collector friends who scour the garage sales and flea markets looking for a killer deal!

Got mine for almost nothing at a flea market years ago. Under $50.00. Most of my collection has been sold since then.
