Thoughts? Cy Young, Hornsby, Mantle, Williams, Jackie Robinson and others
 

Going through my father’s autographed baseball collection. Thoughts on authenticity of:
-Cy Young
-Rogers Hornsby
-Jackie Robinson
-Dizzy Dean
-Ted Williams
-Joe DiMaggio
-Mickey Mantle
-Ted Lyons
-Hank Greenberg
-Jimmie Foxx

Those pictures are actually too big, but not a fan of Young, Lyons and Mantle. Smaller pictures would help.

I do not like Young or Lyons. Some of the others look good, some not sure

Mantle certainly looks good to me. Most look OK but I agree some are not. We need smaller targeted pictures of the autograph. I agree that Lyons and Young look bad. I also don't like Greenberg. But better pics will help.

Young and Lyons look bad, Lefty Grove is perfect

I agree on the Lyons, but am surprised. He was a gracious signer. Quick google: Those are more expensive than I thought they would be.

The Grove and Foxx look good, but my initial thought was they both look like those copies or fake signature / balls that are being reproduced. No aging to lacing etc. The Hornsby look artificially aged. I agree Mantle, Williams, and DiMaggio look good. The Greenberg looks good too if it’s actually a live signature. Cy Young looks bad.

No opinions on the Dizzy Dean?

Dizzy looks authentic to me.

I’m a hard “no” on Young.
