HGA card grading
 

Does anyone have any knowledge about this company?
My son was telling me that HGA grades card using a scanner and a program that looks at all the edges, corners, gloss etc. They then color coordinate the case with the card.

I wouldn’t want all that color on the card case. Especially with that card, looks like a cartoon. Maybe their grading process is good though.

I don't see anything on judging authenticity and whether any doctoring has happened. Those are the most important things to judge!

Its all about the slab. It sad to say but most new collectors don't even know what to look for when looking for alterations. Just having a slabbed card is peace of mind for them so companies like this will and GMA or who ever will always have some business. Maybe HGA doesn't slab altered cards with an A?

I don't know why no one has been able to figure out how to do a decent label. It's just not that hard
