Nashville Pre-War Shops

In Nashville for a few days, usually can find a spot or two searching online, but haven’t been able to. Anyone know of a good prewar/tobacco card spot?

“Cards R Fun” is a halfway decent shop. Not a ton a vintage but it’s worth looking through once in a Blue Moon. I haven’t been in 2-3 years though so could be better or worse now. The problem is I’m pretty sure it’s on Old Hickory Blvd and that area was hit real hard during the storms and might not even be accessible or have power yet. I know parts of that area are just now starting to get navigable again much less open for business.

Appreciate the info, thank you. Any other tips on vintage dealers? Seems like a huge market with no go-to shops?

There is no such thing as a predominant pre-war shop anywhere.

There are several good antique shops in Nashville. I found an AL series notebook (with Cobb and other cards you could cut off from the cover) at an antique shop in Nashville in 2013 for 60.00. Last year I bought a bat I bought for 40.00 at another antique store in the city and I sold it for 400 (shipped it out before I flew home). Goodlettsville (about 30 minutes away) has a couple of large antique shops too. Good luck on the hunt!

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I'd like to see the AL notebook cover. Is it the one that includes these? Sounds like a cool find.

Yes it was. Unfortunately, I traded it long ago (but I got a large amount of cash and a few other items for it). I do not have a scan either.
