Thanks! I did a check on Net54 and elsewhere online per usual and only found info about “40k” models and almost nothing about “55”’s. The one sale write up I could find seemed to take info from the “40k”’s and also had an “indoor” model stamping on the barrel, while my bat has no such stamping

If you're concerned with the date of manufacture above all else, the "Made in USA" designation within the center brand appears after 1921, while the trademark used beneath the center brand on your bat was changed in the early-1930s. Also, beginning in 1932, the "Powerized" stamp starts to appear on bats to the right of the center brand.
