World Wide Gum distribution of Diamond Stars gum packs?

After a bankrupt National Chicle sold their assets to Goudey Gum in 1937, I understand Goudey reused some of their art (like Rabbit Maranville's "how to play baseball" tips) under the Goudey name through 1939.

This wrapper's the first time I've seen World Wide Gum and Diamond Stars linked by name. I thought WWG stopped using their Boston location in mid-1933, so it's interesting to see both in the same place at what appears to be a later year.

Two questions come to mind: Did WWG serve as a stand-in name for sales of remaining 1934-36 Diamond Stars cards following Goudey's buy-out? And anyone seen any other wrappers or on-paper link between WWG and (former) National Chicle products?
