What impact does a Burdick stamp have on pricing?

I inquired about having my boxing card pedigreed by SGC & they said no. Guess they assume anyone can buy a stamper & turn any card into a Burdick owned collectible |

Well, someone could offer me twice the market price for mine and the answer is "no". Owning something Burdick owned is interesting to me as a lifelong student of the hobby. |

Signed by Leifield, but stamped by Burdick. I have a theory that Burdick traded this to hobby pioneer John Wagner, who would get signatures on pre-war cards through the mail. I really love this card for so many reasons!

Great cards, guys! This stamp is much more interesting and appealing than the supposed F. Scott Fitzgerald "F" stamp.

Great cards, guys. While still in need of a Burdick card I think I might have the market cornered on his handwritten letters, of which around 20 of them are posted in this thread below. Eventually I will pick a card of his up but if anyone has anymore of his letters I am all ears (as Ross Perot used to say)....

Just because they don't get slabbed as Burdick collection does not mean that there is no premium. I don't know what the premium is because there don't seem to be a ton of his cards that aren't at the MET, but there is some demand for these.
