Late 1800s tintype - Baseball Game in Action
This has probably been shown on this board several years ago but I just picked it up. The reason I say it was probably shown is a forum search brought up a baseball game in-action tintype but not picture. In my years of looking I haven't seen very many of these in-action type of tintypes...if any others...it is about 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches

VERY cool. I do remember this image because we talked about how HUGE that catcher must have been. Certainly not many staged action-shot tintypes out there.

Game action images are by far the most difficult to find in any form of 19th century photography.
