Lets see some tab/coupon/redemption cards
With the group of 1916 Fleischmanns that recently went up for auction, it got me thinking about sets that were issued with tabs, coupons and cards issued as redemption pieces themselves. I don't currently own any myself but the subject I think is interesting.

I'm a really big fan of the tabbed examples. I've been working on putting a few of these together in my collection over the past five years. Here are three that are current faves:
Gotta love the red! http://photos.imageevent.com/ltsgall...18Valencia.jpg The one-legged version of Gilly Campbell, featured on both his 1931 and 1932 Zeenut cards: http://photos.imageevent.com/ltsgall...pbellSGC30.jpg And then this one, with a coupon lacking an expiry date, featuring a player built like a Truck: http://photos.imageevent.com/ltsgall...0RoyHannah.jpg |
Well done, Brian!
