Was browsing the bay during the NYC blizzard and came across this monstrosity.

It's amazing how many Grandmothers have forged Ruth's signature and then tried to pass them off on their unsuspecting grandsons. Very sad indeed.

I have another one.
You have to read the story from Ebay seller Devildogg27-9 about his "Mickey Mantle/Roger Maris" autographs (laughable forgeries). http://www.ebay.com/itm/141882584364...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Attachment 218920 |

I always like when the forgers selling the fake stuff or the guys that bought fake stuff want to dump it use the "Found in an estate sale" like that is supposed to make it sound legit. Idiots.

He does have balls I will say that. Offering a link to PSA Quick Opinion. PSA would shoot that crap down in a second. And it is on a 50th All Star ball, one of the favorites of forgers.
This will never end. Ebay tossed in the towel, John G. left and the place is worse than the days of the Marino Brothers. |

Someone with zero feedback posted a high end autograph on eBay. It must be real.

It's not impossible to acquire autographs that are authentic - sure, if you weren't there when it was signed you can't be 100% sure, but I think you can be as sure for some, as you are sure that we landed on the moon, or that Elvis is dead. David's Ruth ball for instance. |
