T206 quadruple srtrike to be auctioned
1 Attachment(s)
I would like to wish all members a Happy New Year. Also want to thank the members who helped me to decide what to do with this Rare T206 Quadruple strike Old Mill Back. Also, I want to thank Leon Luckey for this Great Site. After several weeks of craziness, including all the Major Auction companies .......
(last count "6" in total) in this Hobby Emailing me Day and Night to consign to them along with the many Dealers & Collectors interested in buying this card outright and the fact that I was not comfortable pricing it, I decided to listen to the many members who advised me to auction it. After considering all options I decided to consign to REA for their Mega Spring Auction. While I don't know what it will sell for of course I am confident it will sell for a fair price for buyer and seller. Again Members, Thank You so much. REA was to overwhelming choice by you for me to consign to. Thank you all, Michael |
incredible scrap................
good luck with the auction:eek:
absolute stunner:eek: |
Agree with Johnny, that is a beauty!!!
Sincerely, Clayton |
Good luck with the auction.
Not that it matters a whole lot, but wasn't this determined to be a triple strike, not a quad? |
Best of luck with the sale!!

Maybe we can start a contest to guess the final price. |

I missed the discussion as well (unless my memory is that bad :o) but looking at it, what I see is the double strike that is right side up, and the four card miscut back that is upside down, that would probably be the other strike ( because it would technically be one strike even though it shows a piece of four different cards). I may be wrong, if so anyone feel free to correct me on this :D Sincerely, Clayton P.S. Regardless, it's an awesome card!! |

There are four old mill prints on the back, but the bottom one is from the same strike...just separated. http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=180629 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
