Grading of 1914 B-18 Blankets

Will the TPG's ever start assigning numerical grades to the 1914 B-18 Blankets? I know SGC slabs them authentic but will not grade them. Is there room for the prices to grow if they do start to grade them?

I'd like to think that potential price appreciation is independent of TPGs grading them numerically or as Auth. B18s command relatively low prices for three main reasons: 1) They're common relative to other tobacco era cards, 2) The depiction of the players is less than impressive; and 3) Due to their size, they may be considered somewhat awkward to display or store.

Although I'm no longer with Beckett, I know BVG will assign numerical grades on these. Keep in mind a lot of these were sewn into blankets and such, then later trimmed out. Those will only get an Authentic-Altered grade. I actually like these and just picked up a Walter Johnson and Zach Wheat in trade. I wish I had not sold my Shoeless Joe Jackson, but it remains the single most affordable Jackson period "card-like item" along with the Fatima Cleveland Team Card.
