This makes me sad...
I can't quantify exactly why, modern cards are not my primary focus (although I have plenty of them around), but...

It would make me sad as well if all that crap was stuck to my table.:)

Nothing personal... With your title, just had to.

What's sad about that? The cards are probably under glass or plexiglass. It's just decorative, and none of those cards are exactly priceless. It's just a way to make the table more interesting. Now when I think about putting all those baseball cards in my bicycle spokes in the 1960's, that makes me sad!

Even if for some reason they are glued on, it's not like these are e107s, I see a B.J. Upton and a Mark Texeria.
|
I think its cool, at least the cards can be viewed and enjoyed
instead of being crammed in a storage box in the closet |
Great way to get rid of those pesky modern cards not worth much. Make some tables and sell them as man cave novelties. That would be a neat center piece full of even some common vintage 40-60's cards.

They should have made the legs out of stacks of 1990-92 Topps and Donruss. Or any basketball card from any year. :D

I'm having a giant 20 ton Rock Climbing wall made from recycled 1990 Pro Set Football cards installed in my back yard. :D |
Looks like there's a '58 or '59 and a '71 Topps in there, so there's at least a hint of a modicum of taste...

Nope. Even those are modern players/cards, using old school designs. :D |
