What's the highest graded T206 known to man?

Just curious - if you have pics of highly graded, would love to see them!

There were also two PSA 10's in the Harris Collection I'll dig up scans...

Cheers,

If they are Harris Collection it might be more like "what's left of each card grades a 10"....

No doubt Leon, quite a few in there with the hack. I got the card above on ebay as fluke low bid one night.

But then again I would say not just harris anytime you start seeing 8's and above it's amazing how many of them are suspect.

Also let's you know where all the oversized cards have gone. :)

Cheers,

John

No doubt some high grade pre-war cards are good. And no doubt many aren't. Myself and several hobby friends always talk about where all of the big bordered cards have gone :)? That is also one reason I wanted a group of the Beantown cards. It's almost positive they haven't been messed with, and if so, not for nefarious reasons. It's really amazing how almost every one of the goup of E90-1's is just about exactly the same size with nice big borders....This one is not from the Beantown find but is the kind of card I love..with those really meaty borders...and still raw.

Both those Mullins are amazing.

But I thought a 10 meant perfect centering?

The SGC pop repot shows a few T210s that graded 100. Hard to believe for that set especially with an 84 being the highest otherwise. Typo? databse error?
if not does anyone have a scan?

My highest grade T206 is only an 84/7

condition rarity -vs- rare in any grade!

In this hobby, dealing primarily with cardboard, we might always wonder how far the card doctors are ahead of the graders insofar as condition rarities are concerned! I think there's going to be a real hullabaloo coming sometime down the road when a certain percentage of those already in high grade slabs are definitively found to not be so original. Make mine rare in any grade.
