Baseball up on Ebay - confused

Can anyone tell me why Edward Barrow is stamped on an NL Ball? I googled him and did not see that he was ever an NL President. Help! Confused.

I can't help you with an answer to your question, but I definitely wouldn't trust a seller with that many spelling mistakes.

"SPAULING RED AND BLUE STICHING.SEEE PHOTOS."

I've also emailed the seller twice in the past week or so and gotten no response. I'm thinking he may have it labeled wrong, and maybe it's possibly a minor league ball.

I use Keyman Collectibles Site for reference often, and on there is a ball, very similar, Spalding Official National League Ball, with Gear stamped as the President, so I'm thinking that stamping maybe be of a President not of the Majors, but of the Western League or another league that uised those NL Balls, and may not even be Edward Barrow as the seller lists.

Barrow was President of the International League until 1917.
