Today is the 50th anniversary of Nolan Ryan's 2nd career no-hitter- his best!
 

In celebration of HOF Nolan Ryan's 2nd no-hitter on 7/15/73, here are a few cool things related to that game that I own in my collection.

17 K's and a fastball that it was so fast that it tore the pocket of catcher Art Kusnyer's glove in the early innings and forced him to change mitts...
Opposing hitters were quoted as "He had everything!" in the Detroit free Press the next day.

My favorite thing about this No-Hitter, was that Norm Cash, for his last at bat, attempted to use a table leg, to hit off of Nolan Ryan. Here's the video below
