Default FS/FT: T206 St. Louisans: Demmitt, O'Hara, Drum, Uzit, etc.

Posted By: steve yawitz

I'm in one of my phases of hobby restlessness and feel like shaking things up a bit, so I'm thinking of parting with my T206 St. Louis collection, which includes the two rarities, a handful of rare backs and a couple of high-grade cards. Well, an 80 and 84 - of Hall of Famers, no less - which are nice grades here in Armpit Nation.

At this point, I'm just looking to trade for other stuff from the pre-WWII era, but if I'm able to work out a deal or two, I'd probably open the floodgates and start pricing the remaining cards. Anyway, if anybody's interested, I have a few T206 St. Louis folders on my site. The first two folders have close-cropped scans while the third one includes full-slab scans of my graded St. Louisans:

Cardinals - http://imageevent.com/yawie99/yawiesbaseballcards/stlouiscardinals

Browns - http://imageevent.com/yawie99/yawiesbaseballcards/stlouisbrowns

Graded - http://imageevent.com/yawie99/yawiesbaseballcards/slabbedt206s

Thanks for looking,
Steve

my good friend, steve, I thought i'd never see you do this!!!!
i'm guessing that you're leaving the St. Louis metropolitan area---that's the only thing that would help me believe this!
as you well know, i'm behind you in all your endeavors; just had to show you a wee bit of shock!
your cards are top drawer. they'll have no trouble finding a new home.
forgive my hijacking of this sales thread.
best,
barry

I've been expecting you, Perfesser!

Nah, I'm still here and will always love the Cardinals no matter where I'm at, but I can't stand hobby stagnation. I haven't really picked much up over the last few months and don't foresee that changing unless I'm willing to part with some cards. I'll probably end up keeping a few St. Louisans, but it's time to recycle the cardboard.

I'd first like to apologize for how slow I've been getting back with some of the people who have asked about certain cards - it's just been one of those weeks. I have, though, finally added prices to many of my graded cards. I have not yet added prices to the major rarities since I'm still talking trades with a few people but will hopefully make some decisions on their fate by the end of the weekend.

Thanks again,
Steve

Edited to add: Noise-bringing offers would be entertained on the unpriced stuff.

Hi Larry, I'm leaning toward keeping the Hindu Konetchy but the Bresnahans are all available. You can e-mail me at yawie99 at gmail.com.

My one shameless bump to the top of the forum - lowered prices on most of my remaining graded cards and added prices to a few rare backs. There's a part-cash/part-trade deal involving the two tough Polar Bears that I'm still trying to make happen, hence the lack of prices on them, but the stars would have to align just perfectly for that deal to materialize.

Thanks,
Steve
