Default Show me your Mordecai Brown cards

Scan them in guys and gals. Would especially love to see cards that show his missing digit.

I'm surprised the infamous missing finger has not made its way to an auction house. What would be the Minimum Bid on a "HOF'er severed finger" ?? This has Leland's written all over it!

This Turkey Red is my one and only Mordecai Brown card as of yet. Maybe someone can post a nicer T3. Still need 'um for the E93 set I am working on (Jim B.'s is about as nice as it gets).

Jeff - that's wild. I wonder what the thought process was at Plow Bow Headquarters...
"We can't show that! It's just a nub! Get me the art department!"

This 1906 "Moving Picture Postcard" is one of Brown's very earliest "cards." It is from a very rare set that could include 24 or more players (only several are known).

We are researching the set for a future article in Old Cardboard. If anyone has any information about the set or the Winthrop Company, please contact me at editor@oldcardboard.com.

Thanks,
Lyman
