Default T206 Demmitt

Posted By: cn

There was recently a T206 Demmitt Graded Sgc 50 on E-Bay which recieved only 1 bid for $6500. I was just wondering if this is in line for this card as I saw a similiar or maybe perhaps the same card sell for $2100 2 years ago. I must admit it is a nice example of a very rare card.CN

If it's helpful to you, I sold a T206 Demmitt, St. Louis, graded PSA 2 in June of this year for $3175.

The last Demmitt (St Lo), UNGRADED, that I sold about 2 years ago went for $1500 (cash) and a trade value of "$1500" in vintage cards.
Buyer and I agreed that this card was Vg.

Upon subsequently selling off the trade material, it came to $2000....so, total price resulted in $3500 for this Demmitt.

Are rare, period; even more so in higher grades because of the way they were packaged in Polar Bear tobacco packages. So you get resultant staining and, I believe, some wrinkling, too.
