I don't mean to take the wind out of Elliot's sails because this may wind up BEING the new board. But Mike Williams said there IS a new Full Count board on Yahoo groups (although I, like Ben, can't seem to find out where it is).

Elliot:

Maybe you and Mike could chat to see which should become the new "official" board so we all know where to go to read and post.

Kevin

I don't care either way (although this forum DOES have some nice features and is pretty easy to use).

I just thought it'd be nice to settle on one or the other so that all the former Full Count folks could be directed here so we could be back "in business" sooner rather than later.

Also, if Mike is removed from board duties he can probably get the cards up on the Full Count site sooner!

that way we don't need to worry about someone taking it away from us.....not saying I would not have done what Mike and John did, and nothing against them, but it kind of sucked......The Fullcount board did have a lot of immaturity on it and the format was not too good either. Please don't take this as a slam against Mike OR John. What they did for us was invaluable and extremely generous. I just like this one better......best regards

I wonder if Leon knew in 2001 that his vote in favor of this site would eventually lead to him being President?

A young Second Lieutenant doing his boss's job, writing a base security plan and conduction physical security inspections for a military installation in Germany and getting no sleep! Picked up my first beautiful T206 Red Cobb around this time, a raw EPDG on Ebay for $325 that later graded a SGC 40. Now in the caring hands of another board member

Times are so different today

Brian

Realize also...

that our board was started only TWO DAYS after the World Trade Center attack on 9/11/01.

It seems like just yesterday...

I drove from Jackson Tennessee back to Dallas. I was coming back from the NJ Area after 9/11 and had to drive my rental card the 1500 miles. So it took me a while to join the fun here as I had to catch up on life.
