Is "austincena" someone from our board?

For this price... Scott Gaynor owes me big time for being the "second-craziest" guy in the World.

And the SGC 80 Pelty (a pretty weak EX/MT card) fetched $733.00, or about 1.5x what the other EX/MT cards are getting. I assume this is because Pelty was Jewish and there are collectors who specialize in that area.

Hal - imagine how much the 1908 Ramly Johnson would've gone for...

Lots of us MOTTs (Members Of The Tribe) out there and less than 150 MLB Jews = lots of competition for the cards.

I sniped about $3,000 higher than the last bid.

I sniped an amount that I thought was crazy high for the card.

Someone else sniped even crazier.

Scott Gaynor wet his pants.

He laughed, he cried... it was better than "CATS."

That thing went for way more than the PSA 4 copy in the last Mastro collector auction. Take Hal and the buyer out of the equation, and that's where I thought the card would end up.
