Default OT: Sam Crawford Film Role

Posted By: Shemp

In case anyone is interested, Turner Movie Classics is running "College" (1927) starring Buster Keaton this month. In the film Wahoo Sam Crawford plays the college's baseball coach, and gets really upset with Buster's idiotic moves on the fiels, and kicks him in the behind after causing a triple play. According to the Internet Movie Data base, this his only Hollywood film - so check it out!

Thank you for the info ,I am a huge Buster Keaton fan and living in Michigan am a Tiger fan as well, so, of course...Crawford is welcome too.

MY dad , who I miss dearly, tuned me in on Buster Keaton , Chaplain, and Roscoe "Fatty " Arbuckle, whom the latter ,( Arbuckle ) is featured in an early Zeenut card .Iam sure that one on this board has the card, Bill ,Scott Leon or Julie come out with it !

Keaton should be in one of the early actor and actress cards,. Anyone have one of those ?....just curious.

Thanks again for the post !
Merry Christmas to all.
