Default m116 Ad panel of Matty has been sold...Cobb still available w/ lower price!

Posted By: Brian McQueen

I figured I'd go ahead and part with a couple of the m116 uncut panels I won recently and hang on to the others so I'll offer the Cobb and Matty up for sale at this time. These advertisement pieces are truly very scarce and possibly unique. Very few m116 ad pieces exist and this is the only one depicting any of these players that I know of that is still intact. This piece is about 4 times thicker than normal m116s. The Cobb, as well as Matty on the 2nd card, are in terrific shape, however the four end cards are pretty rough. It appears that these cards were tacked to a wall at one point and then the adpiece was simply yanked off the wall without removing the tacks first. The Cobb and Matty escaped any significant damage and either would make a fantastic addition to anyone's collection.

I'd be willing to sell the Cobb for $1600 and the Matty for $675. If anyone was particularly interested in the Chance, let me know and I might consider moving that one too. I have a "wantlist" as well and I'd be interested in trading any of these for any of the following -

e102 - Doyle (batting), Schmidt
e103 - Tenny, Chance, Chase
t209 - B.E. Thompson
1911 Zeenuts - Arlett, Fullerton, Halla
t222 - Henry, Lelivelt, Leibold
d304 - Tenny, any "traded" cards
e97 - Sullivan, Rossman
e99s - any
e100s - any
1918 Zeenuts - any
d322 - Mascot, Forbes Field, Dreyfuss, Leever, Phillippe, Gibson
1909 Obak horizontals

Thanks in advance,

Brian

I've reduced my asking price on the Cobb to $1600 delivered. Trades are certainly still welcome as well and I will trade very liberally for items people have that are on my wantlist. Thanks in advance,

Brian
