Fred: This is all just a dream and none of this really exists. Think man, adults collecting old - timer baseball cards, come on now. Wake up, you are holding all of us here trapped in your dream. WAKE UP!

Gil,

Thanks for the bump.

You and John can say what you like but my therapist told me that I should believe in something and that I should stop believing in Santa Claus because he died a few decades ago. I'll accept Santas departure from this earth but don't try and tell me that there isn't a Hutchison OJ card out there...

Ok, maybe I thought I saw one a few years back, maybe it was the Lithium tablets... I still gotta believe in something other than the fact that Bonds never juiced and he's going to legitimately break Aaron's HR record soon...

BUMP

Gil,

Notice anyone missing from the list? HUTCHISON - Maybe Santa's not dead - Santa Claus is alive and well and he lives in Canada (close enough to the North Pole)!

Now that you have the Hutcheson securely in your stable, can you now reveal why you wanted it?

PS. I thought you had the Ryan - I was tempted, but although a good price, and a good player, I just didn't need it. I must stay focused on the big plan. I must, I will. One auction at a time.

PPS. I also need a Heckler and a Kilroy (and altho a Browning would be great, he too is not in the master plan). But these guys won't come cheaply.

Hi Gil,

Nope, no Maines (h-a-n) yet... Do you have a line on one? Let me know. Also, looking for all the other guys on that list... Looking for a cheap Hecker, Browning, et al. Ok, they don't have to be really cheap...

BTW - thanks for the virtual bump.

Fred, Actually Santa just moved a few hundred miles south and now goes by the name "Crazy Claus". He has your entire wish list in ex-mt, plus a few hundred ex-mt N173's. He just needs a credit card # and.......
(at least you got another bump)

Can you tempt us with a preview of what else will be in your auction?

Paul,

This is a "stand-alone" auction. I'm the only bidder and I get the only catalog. Now, if you want to fill your N172 want list then you should create your own BST N172 thread. Now scram!

The Hecker's mine as are the rest of the cards in that auction. All I have to do is figure out how to pay for it all and to see if Barry does lay-away.

Edited to add:

By the way Barry, November is a long time from now. Can you bump it up a month (or two)?

Paul and Fred- I'm still a little early in the process, and I know not everything promised will come through, but it's starting to look interesting. I'll hold off for now. Stay tuned.

I too need four of these cards. So, if you know that your cards are too crummy for the Judge - they will be just right for me ($250 or less). But run them by Fred first anyway - or I will.
