Default New Member and 1949 Robinson Verification

Hi All! New member here with a quick question for debate. Real or fake? Never seen one with green ink on back, but read it could be possible given the time period and Leaf ink/printing inconsistencies post-War. I know it's a screenshot of a pic so not easy to judge everything else, but seems legit otherwise. Auctioneer says feels real, measures real, but of course no authentication. Came from an estate sale in small town Indiana from a gents collection of over 250,000 cards. Any and all thoughts welcome, thanks!

The chances of you figuring out how to post a picture here are slim to none. So no one will be able to offer an opinion unless you pull off a miracle.

Read that as your picture did not show up.

All he has to do is make the picture smaller in order to post it. It's not super easy but not quite like rocket science either.

Oh ye of little faith...here are the resized photos. Thanks for letting me know they didn't upload the first time! I hadn't noticed obviously.

Thoughts, feelings, funny jokes?

Welcome! As a new member, it will serve you well that you're lighthearted. We have an endless sea of self-styled comedians, in addition to two or three people who are hilarious.

Hey, I resemble that remark!

I've also performed stand-up for about 15 years and been in five comedy festivals...so I have that going for me, which is nice.

Welcome. Verily, verily, I say unto you: you have a 1976 TCMA reprint, which according to TCDB can be found with or without "Reprint 123" printed on the bottom of the back. I have one myself (given to me in a free lot of reprints by a card store owner who was going to trash them otherwise) and it looks almost exactly the same, down to the top-bottom centering and the blurring of letters on the back (and, of course, the greenness). If you use MS Office, it comes with Picture Manager. It is fairly straight forward to re-size pictures using the Edit Pictures/Resize/Percentage of Original picture option.

Yep, that's the card alright! Thanks for sharing. Learned something new today. Not the "greenbacks" win I was hoping for, but a win of sorts nonetheless.
