Default Cardvault by Tom Brady

I stopped by this new location in East Hampton to check it out. It was smaller than expected. There was a wide variety of modern and Pokemon boxes and packs with modern graded and ungraded singles. A decent amount of foot traffic. The oldest card was a 1980 Bird/Magic rookie. Apparently Brady will be there July 4 weekend and is involved in the operations. Thoughts on involvement from celebrity athletes as it relates to the hobby?

I collect vintage baseball cards. I don't give a rats patoot about celebrities. My dogs are celebrities . Others may be into the celebrity thing, to each their own.

The Eighty for Brady crowd would sure like to get stuck in a card vault with Tom, so I am positive this venture will be a hit with the female geriatrics among us Net54 members.

What exactly is his involvement in the operations other than showing up occasionally and (I would guess) charge people to get a picture or an autograph?

I'm sure like a certain ex casino owner it's more that he just licensed his name and has occasional promotional obligations.

Thought I read that he is a part owner, if not a majority owner. Has one in NJ near me. Some slow day this summer I will drive over.

I'm with Leon. Couldn't care any less. They put their underwear on the same way I do. Other than some signed cards and balls, including Ruth and Gehrig, the autographs I care most about I got in person, gratis, no stupid paying for them. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to get Ruth and Gehrig in person. Not on this plain of existence, anyhow.
