Default Parade Sportive Montreal

Can anybody explain how to tell the difference between the Parade Sportive Jackie Robinson original vs. the reprints often available and listed as such ?
Thanks

One option would be to buy a graded one. I know that they fit in Beckett holders, not sure about PSA or SGC.

With no disrespect intended towards Phil, buying one with an opinion attached would certainly even your odds of getting a real one, hahaha.

When I acquired mine back around 2010, I believe it was somewhere in the $400-$600 range and I sold it a couple of years later for probably a little bit more than that. Today, 10X would not even begin to approximate what it would cost at a major public auction. As the only catalogued ‘46 Jackie item out there, demand would surely overwhelm supply on this one. I don’t know that there are more than maybe a dozen or so copies out there in the collecting community.

Thanks a lot guys. I have had mine for maybe 25 years and always believed it to be an original but now I am wondering when the reprints first began to surface. One thing for sure is I am NOT going to spend an arm and a leg to find out. Frustrating !
