last call for a one and only robinson rookie. $12,000. takes it. when compared to other robinson rookies my price is a steal.

thanks - and it is 100 times rarer than any robinson card. it is needed to complete a champ hats set or a robinson set registry. also have a one known well made pants card on ebay. that photo is on the pleetwood slacks card.

Demand for Jackie stuff has never been higher. Yet year after year this is posted and just crickets. Why don't you send to a good AH, negotiate a 0% sellers commission, and let them properly photograph it and tell a better story about why it's rare. You may well net more than you are asking for here. The fact that you continue to try to sell this with these same shitty photographs makes zero sense. And that's why no one has moved on it.

+1 Agree market is Hot for Jackie stuff and rare can make it hotter but potentially also harder to sell since the rarity makes the pricing difficult to determine

Good Luck either way

appreciate the replies. not sure what is meant by shifty photos. the card is big, but if anyone needs photos i have the card with me right now. i know that if i saw a rare card that i needed and was available i would certainly at least inquire about it - preferably by phone. i have every robinson card so after 40 years of finding them its no big deal if it sells on this site. robinsons i dont worry about and eventually ill put it in the big auction where it will probably go nuts. right now im lazy. after all why woud i worry about cards that noone else has.

I’m always torn on whether I like the ribbing on the champs hat and well made pants posts but that was clever.

Yes these threads have given some entertainment value AND are the exception to the rules over here on the BST......generally these kinds of comments aren't allowed but exceptions for interesting situations can occur..

I would be a bidder in an auction setting that doesn't have a reserve...

Everyone here, including the consignor, must have missed that this already appeared in a major auction...and did not sell.

Wait so let me get this straight. This is the only one out there and then you state that it's never been in auction? You also crop your picture to not show staining OR the tear? Yet the card was in REA two months ago not meeting a reserve.

Definitely a way of losing credibility on here. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Damn. What a great crop job that first photo is! Just think if someone didn't ask for more scans...got the card and opened it up. Heart immediately goes into stomach....

If this is deliberate deception and it appears to be, then how is this not fraud?
