Default T206 AB -- 2 Different Names

The other day I posted my recent pick up of AB Congalton, and made a comment about liking it's "off-center-ness."

Saw that there was a sliver of a second name on top, but didn't really give it any consideration. Just figured it to be Congalton. Then, someone contacted me, and asked if it was actually a different name ??? So I pulled it out of binder and gave another look.

Although hardly readable, I did notice right away that it had to be a different name, mainly because the "comma" after names didn't line up:

Cool, but now, how to figure out who it is with such limited printing:

For some odd stoke of luck (or maybe I've just looked at tooooooooo many T206's ), I recognized the team to be St. Louis Nat'L. So, it was then just a matter of time to go through Cardinals (whose names have less letters than Congalton).

Didn't take to long ................ and the winner is .............

Total coincidence that I have the AB Rhodes in my collection.

I know this subject has been discussed before, just something to do on a rainy afternoon ..............

Fun stuff, Scott
