Default 1910 Orange Border complete set.

Is anyone going for the 1910 Orange Border complete set inthe next Hunt live auction?

Here's the link;https://huntauctions.com/live/imagev...m=76&lot_qual=

If someone is thinking of it as a resale investment, I'm interested in the Gibson card.

Hope y'all don't mind I threw this out here. Long time search for that card for me.

Thanks, Marty.

If you dont mind me piggybacking on this post, I would be interested in the Hal Chase, should the winner decide to break up the lot. Thanks in advance!

If he did then at least he won't have to guess if they are trimmed.

I don't know alot of this set, but I see two versions of Wagner listed on the set checklist but it seems there is also two versions of Devlin. Does anyone know why they are not listed seperately? Just curious.....Dan

I believe Leon was making a funny, because most of the posts this member makes are fairly negative about the hobby and all the recent exposures of bad actors within. And he was probably not the winner of the Orange Border lot (which was an unbelievable lot, by the way!), because that was the other poster making a funny of who the least likely winner would be because of the trimmed condition of the cards in the lot.

Just in case you didn't catch all of this. Then again, who knows, people correct me if I am wrong.

First that I have heard of two different Devlin cards in the set...how do you know about them? The checklists I see only have one Devlin listed.

I used to own this Orange Border box and the Baseball Bats cards below....neat sets. The Bats set had 3 different type borders but the Orange Border set only had 1 type.

Hi Dan, you're seeing the 1910 Orange Borders Devlin and the 1911 Baseball Bats Devlin. Some Baseball Bats cards have orange borders.

This is 1911 Baseball Bats - Vintage Card Prices, mistakenly shows this image as an Orange border card.
