Default SOLD 1916 "Shoeless Joe" Jackson Draper & Maynard Athletic Goods Catalog.

Same Catalog in better condition sold for $4000+ this past August at Heritage Auctions.

It's widely considered the most desirable sporting goods catalog in the hobby, and all it takes is a quick glance at the cover to understand why. That's the great "Shoeless Joe" Jackson--in vibrant, living color, no less--pictured just three years before the terrible decision that sealed his fate. The celebrity name-dropping doesn't end there, however, as the heavily-illustrated fifty-plus pages inside features portrait photography of such future Hall of Famers as Zack Wheat, G.C. Alexander, Honus Wagner, Walter Johnson and many more.

And, of course, there are dozens of great shots of thick-handled bats, clunky mitts, metal-framed catcher's masks and every other form of gear from baseball and beyond. Condition is spectacular for a century-old softcover publication.

Cover dimensions 5.75x7.5".

$3000 DLVD
