Default T205 A topic revisited

So the Green Border issue has been discussed here in the past but at Chantilly I picked up a few GAI graded examples from another dealer. Of course I cracked them because, well, GAI. but one of them in particular seems very odd to me. I have always maintained that green borders are not a legit variation but caused by a couple different factors, print issues and/or wear. Well how about a "Blue" border? I still think it looks like wear, but it's interesting that many of the green border cards have green backgrounds and this one has a blue background. Thoughts?

Oh and lol at this card being in a VG slab.

How about an example where there is green bleed from the border into the background of the card? Does this mean there's a green ink argument to be made?

I would personally guess that the gold print had worn off due to handling or oxidation of the ink making the gold border. Printing those days was definitely not the science it is today.

Like I said a lot has been written about the topic already and I was firmly in the "worn off" corner, but the Fromme with the green bleed has me reconsidering my opinion. Also just thought a "Blue Border" was cool. Any of the T205 experts out there have thoughts???
