Default A little Friday fun...

If you could go back in time to sit in the grandstands and watch one baseball game. Give a choice of one or the other, would you choose to watch a game Ty Cobb played in, or Babe Ruth? This is assuming they each played the entire game.

Ruth's called shot ! No doubt nothing Cobb ever did can remotely intrigue me . He was not a spectical I would guess it would be like watching a young Jose Reyes . Ruth was a god amongst children .

Ruth, not even close! Ideally when he was pitching, and also hits a home run

Default Ruth vs. Johnson

In 1916 Ruth and Walter Johnson went head-to-head on the mound several times. Ruth won most of the games. I would like to go to one of the better games when they faced off together.

Default Neither

For me ... it would be neither. I would go back and watch Bobby Thompson. Or Ted William's last at bat.

Cheers,
Patrick

I think I would be more inclined to chose a game based on a legendary starting pitcher rather than a premier hitter. Walter Johnson, Grover Alexander, Christy Mathewson would top my list.

I'd want to watch the game from the iconic Ty Cobb stolen base photo
