Bresnahan w/ Broadleaf 350 back PSA 3 sold for $4200? I can't believe this price.

There were some other head scratchers. I thought the mid grade 1959 Topps set for over $3,000 was far out, considering on Ebay they routinely sell for under $1,500.

I got a pretty good deal (I thought) on the 45-card T205 PSA 3/3.5 lot. It went well under total VCP. Especially compared to the PSA 4 and PSA 5 lots, which went much closer to VCP.

Someone got a great bargain because of an SGC blunder. A blue backed Ty Cobb was auctioned off as an E98 Cobb because that is what the SGC holder said. If you examine the back of the card you will see that it was an E94, a very tough card. I ended up tied for the high bid at $2100 but lost out because the other bid was placed shortly before mine. I kick myself for not going higher. I am assuming the winner bidder also spotted that it was an E94....

Good eye, TBob. After all these years, you still don't just place a ceiling bid and walk away?

I won an item last night with a ceiling bid of $300, getting it for $190. I love auctions without shill bidding!!!!! H&S is definitely on my 'go to' list.
