1. 1887 K-bats Pirates team card
2. half of a t206 Plank
3. Kid Madden leaning on rock OJ
4. Peek-a-Boo Veach OJ
5. Deacon White OJ

Very simple list, top 4 cards on my wantlist(though the KBats isn't realistic) and as much of a Plank as I can get for 10k

Okay, I'll play. No idea where mine lands dollar-wise, but here's a handful of Tip O'Neill items that have really captured my attention lately. Except for #2, I'm pretty sure they're all very unrealistic, so in no particular order:

1. N370 Lone Jack
2. N172 Browns Champs
3. E223 G&B Chewing Gum (have yet to even see this card)
4. Any N173 Cabinet
5. N175 Gypsy Queen
6. 1889 Police Gazette

7. While I'm dreaming, any of the many cool team cabinets I've been seeing.

Regards,

Richard.

I'd buy a PSA 2 1933 Goudey Lajoie. The rest of the money would go towards a 1951 Bowman Willie Mays and a 1954 Bowman Ted Williams in PSA 5.

Default Clarify

Bruce,
First, you misspelled the Holiday in your title, although I think we get the intent.
Next, someone gives me $10,000 .........(gasp, that's as long as I can hold my breath)
But I get to list 6 items which cannot exceed a total of $50,000
Say what are the rules again?
So by my math, I'm out at least 40k. unless I only get one item, not 6 and at least two of the six need to be less than 10k each...or I would be breaking the fantasy rules.

How about this, my list would consist of E210-2 Gehrig and you can keep the change

Hey Ricky, for $10,000 each you can have my 1926 Terry and PCL Averill. Plus $5 for shipping. And 3% paypal.

I'd like Hanukkah Harry to bring me:

1. A Babe Ruth signed check
2. A Voskamps Wagner
3. A 1925 Exhibit Lou Gehrig
4. A Drake's Babe Ruth
5. A W-Unc Tris Speaker from this set:

And
6. A 1952 Topps Mantle

As many T206 commons as I could buy for $10K............

I have a simple inexpensive want list - if I found any of these by xmas I'd be extremely happy ...

1. Any O'Day N172 variation I don't have
2. M101-2 Cobb
3. E121 with Gertenrich back (I'll ask for a HOFer since I can splurge)
4. 1914 CJ #90 Smith with nice eye appeal
5. 1933 Goudey from Lionel Carter Collection (again, HOFer since its xmas $)
6. The N172 of Billy Hamilton that Bob has on the b/s/t, its a beaut!

I don't expect to find these under my Hannukah bush (i.e., wife's Christmas tree) but a CJ Jackson and 52 T Mantle would fit nicely in my curio cabinet.
Other interests as well but need lottery hit.

Without going into the stratosphere with pricing, I figured it best to list five of the more moderately valued cards on my current want list.
If any one of these wound up coming my way this Holiday Season, I would be tickled pink:
1912 Obak Perry
1934 Goudey Frank (Don) Hurst
1934 Goudey Ed Holley
1934 Goudey George Darrow
1934 Goudey Dolph Camilli
Best Regards,
Eric

Default Only 6....hmmm

1. T206 Magie any condition
2. T201 Cobb/Crawford SGC 88
3. D322 Wagner
4. E90-1 Jackson
5. 1955 Clemnte NM
6. E95 Mathewson EX MT

Santa, I'd settle for a small T206 lot with a mid grade Chesbro, Ed Collins, Keeler and a Cy Young upgrade...

The way i read the question is that i have $50,000 to spend, not $10,000, so i based my Chanukah list below on the $50,000 total.

1933 goudey Ruth red background
1952 Berk Ross Mantle
1932 US Caramel Ruth
1932 US Caramel Gehrig
1922 E121 Ruth Holding Bird
1922 E121 Ruth Photo Montage
Any original Ruth Exhibit card

I would try to get the best possible condition on those cards to work it up to the amount of money given here. If still under, i would search out Ruth strip cards, and a 1959 Mantle Bazooka, and a Ruth 1951 Topps All Star, and if i still had bucks left i would just work on old oddball Ruth and Gehrig cards.

Note that i would only work on cards that fit my Yankee collection, and not worry about getting other cards of great players even though they might be rarer or really neat.

Also i wouldnt upgrade any of my current cards, i would only buy cards i do not already own in any condition.

E135 Jackson
T210-6 Stengel

Would have put a T210-8 Jackson but it'll have to come down in price substantially to be within budget.

I'm a little confused as to whether we're supposed to be putting 6 items that are no more than $10k a piece, or no more than 10k total, lol.

So...I'll do both

PSA 6 '33 Goudey Babe Ruth (#53)
PSA 7 '51 Bowman Mantle RC
PSA 6 T206 Ty Cobb green portrait
PSA 8 '41 Play Ball Joe DiMaggio
PSA 7 T205 Cy Young

$10k total
PSA 8 '54 Topps Ernie Banks RC
