Default Babe Ruth signed bat on ebay

I'm sure I just saw this at one of the major auction houses, does anyone know which one it was in?

I am not up on Ruth signed bats. Is this way too much of an asking price? And if so what would a good price on it be? Just curious...

Its one of those items that there is no such thing as a "good price" its whatever the market will handle, we call it "Throw away the price guide". In his defense BASED on his description is pretty straight forward and he did his research and didn't just throw it off to a 3rd party to do the work

Thanks Jim. On the card side I get asked this type question a lot, for items that are rarely sold. I usually say something like- "based on my experience I would be surprised if it went for less than xx or more than xxx." ....and leave it at that. It sounds like the same type thing with this bat.
