Yes. It was auctioned in the 1996 Baseball Magazine Christie's auction. Bill Mastro was going after all the Horner's for Marshall Fogel, who as far as I know still has it. Marshall came up to me after the auction to apologize for beating me! It went for $3,000+ which today, like so many other things, seems like chump change for such an item.

The one thing I recommend to any collector, especially those who are thinking of getting rid of their collection: if you have something you really love that is rare - don't sell it. There are more and more collectors with deep pockets who will pick up such items and you will never see them again.

Hank - you were really lucky to get that '24 team collage back

You are correct, sir! And I will appreciate it more than ever. But--I wouldn't have mourned much if I hadn't won it back. I've bought and sold so many great things over my lifetime (not just baseball, I've had many collecting interests), that I've never grieved over parting with anything, I just accept it as part of the game. In fact, when I've needed money, I've always been very happy that I had things to sell with which to raise it. And when I've had money, I've been happy to spend it on frivolous things I love having in my possession. So it all works out just fine.
