And yet Ebay will allow the below GAI certed garbage (certed by Mike Baker) and all of that other GAI certed crap (again, certed by Mike Baker) to be allowed on their auction site. Disgusting.

If Richard's COAs are really being questioned on Ebay then what the hell is Ebay's world coming to. Especially when Ebay has made a ton of money from the sales of GAI authenticated garbage.

The problem, of course, is that there is so much of that GAI crap on Ebay that they (Ebay) cannot turn their backs on that continuous cash flow from obvious forgeries. They have been informed about that crap from numerous sources for a long time but the "money machine" they have from those sales is like winning the lottery every day.

Frankie, that first Ruth is hideous and the Ruth cut on that "fake scarcity" card are HORRIFIC, and those were passed by the big three. DEAR GOD

Chris, Ebay, as you have stated many times, doesn't care. And guys like Kevin Keating and Richard Simon have sterling reputations. This is uttlery ridiculous. At least some of the GAI stuff is fairly close, tho that ball isn't close at all.

Private sales seems to be the wave, or should be, on hi end autographs. This is very disturbing and if I was in a position to collect hi priced sigs, this kinda stuff would likely worry me a lot. As Chris has said, knowledge gained seems to be the ticket, not someones else's opinions, esp when hideously bad stuff gets passed routinely, even by the "big boys".. Depressing..

What happened to Mike Baker? Wasn't he highly respected at one point?

Dan, try to email him over at "The Global Authority" where he is "Director Of Grading." I did and never got a response. His silence is deafening.
