Default Hal Chase Loving Cup Questions

"Unfortunately, he (Chase) was stricken with smallpox and could not report to the Yankees until May 3 (1909), when he was presented with a silver loving cup by his teammates

Question on the Chase Loving Cup card --- do the backs known for this card --- match up with this description of when his teammates awarded him this cup?

Was reading about Chase today -- and this thought came to mind.

Regards
Rich

The Chase trophy card was one of the later issued cards in the set, so wouldn't have been issued in May of 1909 or in any part of 1909 for that matter. I hope I understood what you were asking.

Good topic, I had a couple of other questions on this card:

What is the "silver loving cup" that he is holding? I have always wondered.

Also, is that T206 Chase (trophy) card the only card in the set where a player is holding something else besides a baseball related object (baseball, give, bat)? I don't recall one, but wanted to get everyone's thoughts.
